About Oxalas

A pharmaceutical company built around two lines and four markets.

Oxalas registers, supplies and supports medicines and nutritional products where people buy them — through prescribers, pharmacies and retailers in the United States, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt.

Our story

Oxalas began with a simple observation: in the markets we know best, the gap between a good medicine and the patient who needs it is rarely the science. It is everything around it — registration that takes years, supply that breaks at the last mile, leaflets written for regulators rather than people, and supplements sold on promises their labels cannot keep.

We set out to build a company that does that unglamorous work properly. Not a laboratory, and not a trading house — a pharmaceutical company whose craft is taking proven medicines and trustworthy nutrition products through each country’s regulatory pathway, into licensed pharmacies, and into people’s hands with information they can actually use.

We chose two lines deliberately. Prescription and over-the-counter medicines demand rigour: dossiers, pharmacovigilance, the discipline of doing things the regulator’s way. Vitamins and supplements demand honesty: the temptation in that category is to claim more than the evidence supports, and we decided early that our labels would say exactly what is in the pack, at the stated amount, and nothing more.

We chose four markets deliberately too. Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are where our roots and our partners are — among the region’s largest and fastest-growing healthcare markets, each with its own authority, language needs and pharmacy culture. The United States holds us to one of the most demanding regulatory standards in the world, and working there keeps the bar high everywhere else. A leaflet in Cairo should be as clear and as current as one in Riyadh, Dubai or Chicago.

The name and the mark carry the idea. The facets of the Oxalas star are separate pieces that only make a shape together — the way regulatory work, manufacturing, distribution, pharmacies and prescribers only make a trustworthy medicine when each piece is done well and fits the next. That is the company we are building: focused, patient, and held to one standard in every market we serve.

Who we are

Oxalas is a privately held pharmaceutical company. We do not try to do everything. We focus on two product lines — prescription and over-the-counter medicines, and vitamins and supplements — and on doing the work that makes them trustworthy: registration with the health authority, qualified manufacturing, controlled distribution, accurate labelling and active pharmacovigilance.

Because we operate in both regulated Western and Middle Eastern markets, one standard of quality and information applies everywhere. A leaflet in Cairo says the same thing as a leaflet in Riyadh or Chicago, in the language of the patient reading it.

What we do

Prescription & OTC medicines

From dossier and registration to launch and life-cycle management, we take medicines through each market’s regulatory pathway and keep them supplied, monitored and correctly labelled.

Vitamins & supplements

Everyday nutrition products developed with qualified manufacturers, positioned honestly and sold through pharmacies and retail partners.

Where we are

We operate in four markets and treat each as a home market, with local regulatory work, local partners and local safety reporting: the United States, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt.

What we commit to

Compliance before speed

A product is launched when its registration, labelling and supply chain are right — not before.

Plain information

Patients and consumers get information they can act on; healthcare professionals get the full prescribing information.

Safety that reports upward

Side-effect reports are recorded, assessed and forwarded to authorities. We would rather hear about a problem early.

Long-term partners

Distributors, pharmacies and manufacturers are partners for years, on transparent terms.
